MOOSIC, PA (April 13, 2023) --
Michael Conflitti tied for fifth overall and led the King's College men's golf team to a second-place finish at the Scranton Quad Match on Wednesday afternoon. The Monarchs recorded a round of 324 (+40) at Glenmaura National Golf Club, while the host Scranton earned the team title with a score of 290 (+6). Wilkes finished third overall with a round of 326 (+42), while Misericordia placed fourth with a score of 342 (+58).

Conflitti tied for fifth with his team-low round of 76 (+5) for a new career low. Scranton's Danny Harding earned individual medalist honors as he carded a round of 68 (-3). The Royals also took second and fourth to help them in the team win. Wilkes was led by Cole Jungwirth who totaled a round of 73 (+2), while Misericordia's top finisher was Colin Bowanko as he totaled a 79 (+8).

Tyler Faux placed 8
th overall with a round of 82 (+11), while
JP Gilroy and
Joe Petrillo tied for 10
th as they both carded a round of 83 (+12) in the match.
Gavin Ruger rounded out the Monarch golfers in the quad match with a score of 94 (+23).

King's will be off for the remainder of the week as they will return to play on Monday, April 17 for a home tri-match with Wilkes and Misericordia. The final regular-season match is set for a 1:00 p.m. tee time at Wyoming Valley Country Club.
