MOOSIC, PA (SEPTEMBER 14, 2023) -- King's College (0-2) men's golf were defeated by the Royals of Scranton 351-299 at Glenmaura National Golf Club on Thursday.

JP Gilroy (Jr.) led the way for the Monarchs and carded a score of 81 (+10) on the 71-par course.  Michael Conflitti (Sr.) was just five strokes behind and scored 86 (+15) during the afternoon on the green.

Roman Citro (Fy.) collected a score of 90 (+19) and Bryce Burgit (So.) had 94 (+23).With just one stroke behind, Gavin Ruger (Jr.) followed with a score of 96 (+25). Antonio Figueroa (Jr.) rounded out the Monarchs with a result of 107 (+36). 

King's will have a short turn around with their home opener on Monday, September 18^th at Wyoming Valley Country Club to take on the Warriors of Lycoming. The scheduled tee time on is set for 1 p.m. The team will have a week break before battling against Misericordia and Wilkes for a home tri-match on Tuesday, September 26^th with a scheduled tee time of 1 p.m.
