WILKES-BARRE, PA (SEPTEMBER 18, 2023) --  Coming off of a loss to Scranton, the King's College (1-2) men's golf team prevailed and defeated the Warriors of Lycoming (0-1) Monday afternoon at the Wyoming Valley Country Club.

On the 70-par golf course, Bryce Burgit (So.) and Michael Conflitti (Sr.) tied for first place with a score of 75 (+5). This performance on Monday marks a new career low for Conflitti.

JP Gilroy (Jr.) was able to tie for third place with Lycoming's Will Eberz and carded a score of 79 (+9). Eight Strokes behind him was Roman Citro (Fy.) who followed with 87 (+17). Jackson Grozelle (Jr.) evened with the Warriors' Dylan Seck at seventh place and collected a 92 (+22), this marks a new career low for Grozelle. Michael Kaleta (Fy.) rounded out the Monarchs with a score of 101 (+31) and placed ninth. 

The Monarchs are back at Wyoming Valley Country Club for a tri-match on Tuesday, September 26^th with a scheduled tee time of 1 p.m. to take on Misericordia and Wilkes. The men's golf team will be back on the road to face off Misericordia on Tuesday, October 10^th with a scheduled tee time of 1 p.m. to end their fall season.
