DALLAS, PA (SEPTEMBER 6,2023) -- In their 2023 fall opener, King's College (0-1) men's golf team falls to cross town rival Wilkes (2-1) with a score of 325-317 on Wednesday afternoon.

On the par 72 course at Huntsville Golf Club,
Michael Conflitti (Sr.) and Wilkes' Max Cocchi (Jr.) tied for second with a score of 76 (+4) overall. Conflitti finished just two strokes behind Trevor DuBoff of the Colonels who carded 74 (+2).

JP Gilroy split for fourth out of ten and recorded a score of 82 (+10). While
Roman Citro (Fy.) was one stroke behind and placed sixth with 83 (+11).
Bryce Burgit (So.) ended the afternoon with 84 (+12) and
Gavin Ruger (Jr.) rounded out the Monarchs in the match with a score of 92 (+20).

The Monarchs will be back on the green as they travel to the University of Scranton on September 14
th with tee time set for 1 p.m. at Glenmaura National Golf Club. The men's golf team will return to the home course of Wyoming Valley Golf Club to take on the Warriors of Lycoming College on September 18
th with a set tee time for 1 p.m.
