WILKES-BARRE, PA (November 15, 2024) -- The King's College men's team lost to the Flying Dutchmen of Lebanon Valley 126-68 on Friday night in Scandlon Natatorium.

Christopher Maciejczyk started off the individual events with the 1000-yard freestyle and had a time of 13:12.74.
Noah Dunbar took first place in the 200-yard freestyle at 2:10.18 and
David Guillen-Duran was in third at 2:33.53. In the 50-yard freestyle,
Christopher Maciejczyk came right back to take the third spot by clocking in at 26.93,
Chris Marriott was right behind at 27.37, and Dunbar rounded the group at 27.41.
Billy Hanson began the evening with a second place finish in the 200-yard IM at 2:26.49 and
Jimmy Ardito clocked in at 2:45.38. Dunbar and Marriott competed in the 100-yard butterfly with times of 1:07.19 (Dunbar) and 1:11.75 (Marriott).

After a short break, Hanson became the second Monarch to gain a first place finish with a time of 58.32 in the 100-yard freestyle, while
Matthew Maciejczyk took second at 59.67 and
Cody Zheng came in at 1:20.01.
Christopher Maciejczyk took his turn to gain a top finish at 1:08.26 in the 100-yard backstroke and Ardito was in the third spot at 1:17.27.
Matthew Maciejczyk battled in the 500-yard freestyle and timed in at 7:04.29. In the final individual event of the night, Hanson finished at 1:16.21 for second place in the 100-yard breaststroke. Marriott clocked in at 1:19.46, and Guillen-Duran rounded the Monarchs at 1:34.29.

In the team events, the King's relay team of
Matthew Maciejczyk, Guillen-Duran, Ardito, and Zheng competed in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 2:18.08. The Monarchs had two squads in the 200-yard freestyle as an exhibition. Team A was Hanson, Dunbar,
Christopher Maciejczyk, and Marriott who came in at 1:47.29. Team B consisted of Guillen-Duran,
Matthew Maciejczyk, Ardito, and Zheng with a time of 2:00.18.

King's will have a week break before traveling to Scranton, PA for the annual Electric City Invitational that is hosted by Marywood from Friday, November 22
nd to Sunday, November 24th. The next time the team will be back in the pool will be after the new year.
