Women's Golf Falls in Home Quad-Match

WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 13, 2024) -- The King's College women's golf team hosted Wilkes, Marywood, and FDU-Florham in a home quad-match on Saturday afternoon. The Monarchs had a team score of 400, while Wilkes scored 357, FDU-Florham earned a score of 397, and Marywood had an individual score of 110 at Wyoming Valley Country Club. 

In the par-71 course, Wilkes took the top two spots with Kyleen McCance having a round of 79 and Gianna Picco carding a score of 88. Mady Pendolphi (Jr.) took third with a score of 90 and the Colonels' Mollie Corbett was one stroke behind with 91. FDU-Florham's Erica Balckburn took the fourth spot with 92 and Abby Barlocker (Fy.) had 94 to take fifth place. 

The Devils' Julianna Polanco had a sixth place finish with a score of 97. Lauren Koval of Wilkes carded a score of 99 and Dominique Rodriguez of FDU-Florham was right behind with 100. Amanda Sokol (So.) and the Colonels' Rissa Brazeau evened with a score of 105. The Devils' Emma Letizia had a round of 108 to take the eleventh spot and Marywood's Gracie Sector took twelfth with 110. Ashley Wheeler (Fy.) rounded the Monarchs with a score of 111. 

King's will have a short turnaround as they travel to Susquehanna University to take on the River Hawks on Sunday, April 14th with a tee time of 1 p.m. The squad will battle Wilkes and Misericordia at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 20th
