WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 20, 2024) -- The King's College women's golf team had a team score of 462 in their quad-match loss to Scranton, Misericordia, and Wilkes. The Royals' team score was 365, the Cougars had 418, and Colonels earned a score of 419 at the Huntsville Golf Club on Saturday afternoon.
On the par-72 course, Scranton's Madalyne Buhler took first place with a round of 82 (+10).
Kyleen McCance of Wilkes was one stroke behind with 83 (+11). Alexandra Schaul had a score of 91 (+19) for the Royals. Misericordia's Jordyn Ruane and Cassandra Weir of Scranton evened with 92 (+20) to take the last top spots.
The Royals' Lidia Marranca had a round of 100 (+28) for sixth place.
Mady Pendolphi (Jr.) and the Colonels' Mollie Corbett tied with a score of 102 (+30).
Abby Barlocker (Fy.) was two strokes behind to take the ninth spot with 105 (+33). The Cougars' Olivia Voll earned a score of 106 (+34) and Kennedy Cielinski had 107 (+35). AnnaMarie Palermo of Scranton took twelfth with 108 (+36).Â
Wilkes' Lauren Koval and Misericordia's Amanda Voll both carded a score of 113 (+41). Kylee Laudenslager finished the Colonels with a score of 121 (+49).
Aspen Wallin (Sr.) had a score of 126 and
Amanda Sokol (So.) rounded the Monarchs with 129 (+57).Â
King's will close out the regular season with a road matchup against Misericordia on Sunday, April 28
th with a scheduled tee time of 12 p.m.
