LA PLUME, PA (August 30, 2024) -- The King's College men's soccer team traveled to La Plume face Keystone College on Friday night. In the 2024 season opener, the Monarchs (1-0-0) shut out the Giants (0-1-0) 3-0 with three different goal scorers to help Brandon Raynor notch his first win as head coach.

Both teams got into some foul trouble throughout the second half as a yellow card was issued for King's'
Trevor Jones in the 61
st minute and for Keystone's Morade Mama in minute 73. Both teams tallied nine fouls in the second half.
However, the King's offense remained dominant at the forefront, putting up nine shots compared to Keystone's four. The total shot comparison was 20-6 and first-year goalkeeper
