SELINSGROVE, PA (September 15, 2024) -- The King's College women's golf team lost to the River Hawks of Susquehanna (2-0) and the Pacers of Marywood on Sunday afternoon. The Monarchs (1-4) had a team score of 455 (+175), the River Hawks posted a team score of 335 (+55), and the Pacers did not record a team score at Susquehanna Valley Country Club.

On the par-70 course, Kennedy Petrovich (Fy.) of Susquehanna took first place with a score of 74 (+4). The River Hawks' Isabella Westerfield (Fy.) carded a score of 81 (+11) for second and teammate Peyton Cerminaro (Fy.) had a round of 86 (+16) to take the third spot. Susquehanna's Molly Rohan (So.) posted a score of 94 (+24) for fourth and Sara Rados (Sr.) of the River Hawks was one stroke behind to card a score of 95 (+25) to claim fifth place.

Mady Pendolphi (Sr.) tabbed the sixth spot with a score of 96 (+26) and Carly Mulroy of Marywood had a round of 98 (+28) to take seventh place.
Aspen Wallin (Sr.) posted a score of 111 (+41) for eighth and the Pacers' Maddie Franceski (So.) was in the ninth spot with a score of 112 (+42). Susquehanna's Kellyn Hackett-Slimm (So.) reeled in a score of 113 (+43) to take 10
th place. In the remaining spots was
Amanda Sokol (Jr.) with a round of 116 (+46) and
Ashley Wheeler (So.) who carded a score of 132 (+62).

The Monarchs will host Scranton at the Wyoming Valley Country Club on Saturday, September 21
st with a scheduled tee time of 1 p.m. After a week break, the squad will battle Marywood and Wilkes for a home tri-match on Saturday, September 28
th. A scheduled tee time is set for 1 p.m.
