Monarchs Split Homecoming Tri-match with Wilkes and Marywood

WILKES-BARRE, PA (September 28, 2024) -- The King's College women's golf team split their homecoming tri-match with the Pacers of Marywood and the Colonels of Wilkes on Saturday afternoon at the Wyoming Valley Country Club. The Colonels came out on top with a team score of 275, the Monarchs collected a team score of 332, and the Pacers had 336.
 
Kyleen McCance (So.) was on par with a score of 72 to take home first place for Wilkes. The Colonels' Mollie Corbett (Sr.) shot a round of 92 for the second spot and Carly Mulroy (Fy.) of Marywood carded a score of 97 for third. Brighton Wallin (Jr.) had a score of 101 for fourth place and Aspen Wallin (Sr.) was five strokes behind with a score of 106 to take the fifth spot.
 
Wilkes' Bella Rebar (Fy.) and Rissa Brazeau (So.) tied for sixth with a round of 111 on the par-72 course. Teammate Morgan Andretta (Sr.) was right behind with a score of 113 to take eighth place. In ninth was the Pacers' Maddie Franceski (Jr.) who carded a score of 114. Ally Hourigan (Fy.) of Marywood and Ashley Wheeler (So.) deadlocked at the last spot with a score of 125.
 
The Monarchs will have one last match for their fall season on Sunday, October 27th and will take on Albright. A scheduled tee time is set for 1 p.m.
