WILKES-BARRE, PA (January 24, 2025) -- The King's College men's swim team dominated on Senior Night as they defeated the Lycoming Warriors 109-40 in the Scandlon Natatorium on Friday.

Christopher Maciejczyk was the only competitor in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 12:29.77. In the 200-yard freestyle,
Matthew Maciejczyk took second at 2:13.12 and
Cody Zheng came in at 2:59.14.
David Guillen-Duran tabbed a first place finish in the 50-yard freestyle at 26.97 with
John Toussaint right behind at 30.74, and
Cody Zheng rounding the group at 40.69.
Billy Hanson competed in the 200-yard IM and finished with a time of 2:24.50.

In the 100-yard butterfly,
Noah Dunbar clocked in at 1:02.76. Guillen-Duran notched another first place finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:00.96, while Toussaint came in at 1:14.02, and Zheng at 1:24.35.
Christopher Maciejczyk took first place in the 100-yard backstroke at 1:06.76 and Dunbar was right behind at 1:07.29. In the 500-yard freestyle,
Matthew Maciejczyk collected his own first place finish in 6:20.05 and
John Toussaint followed at 8:29.33. In the final individual event of the evening, Hanson took the first top spot in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:15.78 and Guillen-Duran finished at 1:22.63.

In the team events, the Monarch relay team that consisted of
Christopher Maciejczyk, Hanson, Dunbar, and
Matthew Maciejczyk celebrated a first place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:58.85. In the 200-yard freestyle relay, the team of
Matthew Maciejczyk, Zheng, Toussaint, and
Christopher Maciejczyk clocked in at 2:02.23.

The Monarchs will have a quick turnaround as they will be on the road to take on Moravian at 1 p.m. tomorrow, January 25th to complete their regular season. The Middle Atlantic Conference Championships are scheduled for February 13
th-16
th at Messiah.
