OWINGS MILLS, MD (November 8, 2025) – The King's College men's swim team faced off against Stevenson University and Wilkes University in a tri-meet, Saturday afternoon at the Huntsinger Aquatics Center. The Monarchs dropped both legs of the meet, falling 141-97 against the Mustangs and yielding a 153-89 result to the Colonels. The team now stands at 4-6 on the season.

In the individual events, Christopher Dutko placed sixth in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a personal best time of 12:07.45, while teammate
Christopher Maciejczyk finished eighth in 13:05.82.

Connor Scheckner won the 100-meter backstroke, swimming a time of 54.50.
Julian Zoquier earned seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke, touching the block at 1:15.33.

Matthew Maciejczyk claimed fifth in the 200-yard butterfly, swimming to the wall in 2:44.35. Kubis was victorious in the 50-yard freestyle, posting a time of 22.92. Teammates
Stefan Lakoseljac and Dutko finished sixth and eighth, swimming times of 24.85 and 25.69, respectively.

Scheckner added his second win of the day in the 100-yard freestyle recording a time of 49.33, while Lakoseljac touched the block at 56.07 to earn eighth.

In the 500-yard freestyle, Kubis placed fifth with a time of  5:35.70 while Dutko finished ninth in 5:48.17. Lakoseljac and M.Maciejczyk swam times of 1:09.50 and 1:10.76 in the 100-yard butterfly to claim ninth and tenth.

In the 200-yard IM, Scheckner registered his third individual victory of the day with a season best time of 2:03.17.

In the group event's, the team competed in the 200-yard freestyle relay, placing first out of five teams. The squad of Kubis, Lakoseljac, Dutko, and Scheckner swam to the wall in 1:33.40.

Men's Swimming returns to action next Saturday to take on SUNY-Delhi in the first home meet of the season at the Scandlon Natatorium at 12:00.
