Grantham, PA (March 1, 2025) -- The King's College wrestling team battled in day two of the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships that was hosted by Messiah on Saturday afternoon. The Monarchs finished 13
th of 18 teams with 22 points. The squad witnessed
Patrick Horvath,
Shane Kibler, and
Richard Fronheiser earn top eight finishes.

Patrick Horvath – 125
Horvath had a close matchup with Ursinus' Franco Mazza but ultimately fell short in a 4-3 decision. In the seventh-place bout, the junior lost to Joey Lamparelli in a 12-4 major decision. Horvath ended the weekend at eighth place in the 125-weight class.

Shane Kibler – 149
Kibler was pinned in his first match of the day against Dalton Monger of Messiah in 1:49. The Monarch battled NYU's Vincenzo Napilitana through three periods but succumbed to a 9-6 decision loss. Kibler placed eighth in the 149-weight division.

Richard Fronheiser – 197
Fronheiser pushed Phil Nav of Gettysburg late in the third period before being pinned at 8:49. The senior came back to secure a 5-4 decision win over McDaniel's Valentino Pryor to place seventh at 197.
