WILKES-BARRE, PA (March 29, 2025) -- The King's College men's golf team did not have to travel far as they took on Wilkes. The Monarchs fell 353-343 to Colonels at Huntsville Golf Club on Saturday afternoon.

On the par 72-course,
JP Gilroy took first place with a score of 80 (+8). Wilkes' Trey Hilbert and Daniel Nau both carded a score of 82 (+10) to tie at second place.
Jackson Grozelle and the Colonels' Teague Porter evened for the fourth spot with a round of 89 (+17). Brady Rood of Wilkes collected a score of 90 (+18) for sixth place.

Bennett Anklewich,
Brendan Percey, and
Alexander Ray all stood at seventh spot with a round of 92 (+20).
Michael Kaleta rounded the Monarchs with a score of 95 (+23) for 10
th place. The Colonels' Matthew Carlson and Loch Williams carded a score of 97 (+25) to take 11
th place.

King's will be back on the green to take on Misericordia and Scranton at 1pm on Tuesday, April 1st.
