Men's Golf Split Monday Tri-Match against Lycoming and Wilkes

WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 21, 2025) -- The King's College men's golf team had a Monday tri-match split as they defeated Lycoming 344-360 and lost to Wilkes 337-344 for the afternoon at Wyoming Valley Country Club.
 
Will Eberz of Lycoming took first with a score of 71 (+1). The Monarchs' Brendan Percey and JP Gilroy were right behind for the next two top spots as Percey collected a round of 79 (+9) and Gilroy carded a score of 80 (+10). The Colonels came in hot as Teague Porter (82), Brady Noone (83), Matthew Carlson (85), Brady Rood (87), and Daniel Nau (88) gained fourth thru eighth place.
 
Jackson Grozelle and Ross Eyer tied for ninth with a score of 92 (+22). Cameron Jones trailed his teammate by one stroke with a round of 93 (23). The Warriors' Christian Eppley carded a score of 96 (+26) and Michael Kaleta had 99 (+29) for 12th and 13th place. Branson Dodson of Lycoming rounded the Warriors with a score of 101 (+31).
 
The Monarchs will close their regular season on the road against Scranton and Misericordia tomorrow, April 22nd at 1 p.m.
