DALLAS, PA (April 29, 2025) -- The King's College men's golf team was on the road as they took on Misericordia. The Monarchs fell 356-336 to the Cougars.
 
On the par-72, JP Gilroy had a first-place finish with a score of 77 (+5). Misericordia took the next three top spots as Brett Herman had a round of 78 (+6), Cameron Purrington collected a score of 83 (+11), and Matt Maransky 86 (+14).
 
Cameron Jones and Misericordia's Ryan Vallach tied for fifth place with a round of 89 (+17). Brendan Percey was two strokes behind with 91 (+19) for the seventh spot. The Cougars' Logan Larish carded a score of 92 (+20) and Bennett Anklewhich rounded the Monarchs with 99 (+27).
 
The Monarchs will compete in the 2025 MAC Freedom Championships at Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort in East Stroudsburg, PA on May 3^rd-4^th. A scheduled tee time is set for 9 a.m. for both days.
