SCRANTON, PA (September 11, 2025) - King's was on the road again, this time at Glen Oak Country Club. The Monarchs rolled out a young lineup with five first year players, three of whom were making their collegiate debuts. The team as a whole shot better than they did in the season opener, but ultimately fell to Scranton 355-296.
Jeremy Layland led King's with an 82. In their collegiate debuts,
Max Bowen shot a steady 88,
AJ Borchert followed with a 98, and Connor Smigielski finished with a 95.
Joe Altmire added a 90 to the team total and
Patrick McComb rounded out the scoring with a 103.
The Monarchs will look to bounce back when they take on the Royals again on Tuesday September 16 at home. Tee off is set for 1:00 PM at Wyoming Valley Country Club.
