WILKES-BARRE, PA (September 24, 2025) - King's picked up their first win of the season as they downed Misericordia 320 - 322 in a home tri-match. The Monarchs shot their best score of the season, beating their previous best by 2 strokes. Lycoming shot the lowest score of the day with a 318.
Sophomore
Brendan Percey led the way for King's with a 79 followed closely by
Max Bowen and
AJ Borchert who both tallied an 80. Right there with them was
Conner Smigielski with an 81.
Jeremy Layland added an 83 and
Aiden Wiedlich rounded out the scoring with a 98.
The Monarchs will be on the road at Irem Temple Country Club on Friday October 3 at 1:00 PM when they take on Misericordia and will look to bring the momentum from today's hard fought win.
