DALLAS, PA – The King's College men's golf team finished second in a Sunday afternoon tri‑match against Wilkes University at Huntsville Golf Club.
Wilkes won the dual match with a team score of 321, while King's followed with a 333 on the par‑72 course.
Brendan Percey paced the Monarchs, firing a 78 to tie for first overall out of the field of 12 golfers, a round that featured two birdies and eight pars.
Jeremy Layland added an 82 to finish tied for fifth, while
Cameron Jones took ninth, carding an 86.
AJ Borchert followed with an 87, and
Conner Smigielski and
Mario Belza rounded out the King's lineup with scores of 89 and 90, respectively.
Wilkes was led by Brady Noone, who matched Percey with a 78. Dane Schutter added an 80 for the Colonels, while Ryan Hacker posted an 81 and Trey Hilbert shot an 82.
