EDWARDSVILLE, PA (April 11, 2026) -- The King's College women's tennis team continued its Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom schedule Saturday afternoon, dropping a 7-0 decision to Arcadia University at Kirby Park. The Monarchs fall to 0-9 on the season, while the Knights improve to 4-8.

Arcadia set the tone during singles play and earned victories across the lineup. Carlee Dellose competed at No. 1 singles and fell to Savannah Falk, 6-0, 6-2. At No. 2 singles, Kimberly Dinh was defeated by Jada Young, 6-1, 6-2.

Betsy Allen lined up at No. 3 singles and dropped a 6-1, 6-0 decision to Leah Hatcher. The Knights added another point at No. 4 singles as Jaelyn DaSilva topped Miley Caetano, 6-4, 6-4. At No. 5 singles, Allison Van Pelt suffered a 6-0, 6-0 loss to Kaylee Higgins, while Madeline Sirianni closed singles play with a 6-1, 6-1 setback against Nicole Scannapieco at No. 6.

Doubles play followed with Arcadia sweeping all three matches. The pairing of Dellose and Dinh dropped a 6-1 result at No. 1 doubles to Falk and Hatcher. At No. 2 doubles, Allen and Caetano fell 6-0 to Young and Emma Chobert. The Knights completed doubles play with Jessie Friel and Michelle Planita earning a 6-2 win over Van Pelt and Sirianni at No. 3.
The Monarchs play their final home match of the 2026 spring season tomorrow, hosting Elizabethtown College at Kirby Park. First serve against the Blue Jays is set for 9:00 a.m.
