WILKES‑BARRE, PA (April 17, 2026)--The King's College men's golf team hosted Scranton and Wilkes in a Friday afternoon tri‑match at Wyoming Valley Country Club, finishing with a team score of 325.

The Monarchs split the event, earning a 14-stroke win over Wilkes (339) while falling to Scranton, who posted the low team score of 293 on the par‑72 layout.

Jeremy Layland led King's with a strong round of 77 (+5), while Cam Jones followed with an 80 (+8).
Conner Smigielski added an 81 (+9), and
AJ Borchert posted an 83 (+11).
Brendan Percey rounded out the scoring group with an 85 (+13) as the Monarchs secured the home win over the Colonels.

Scranton was paced by Jack Novis and Richard Essen, who each fired a round‑low 70, while Kade Kelleher added a 75 for the Royals. Wilkes was led by Brady Noone with a 79, and Jayden Bleiler contributed an 84 for the Colonels.
