LEBANON, PA (April 25, 2026)-- The King's College men's golf team opened play at the 2026 MAC Freedom Championships on Saturday afternoon at Iron Valley Golf Club, posting a team score of 350 to sit fifth after the opening round. Stevens leads the eight‑team field with a 297.
Brendan Percey and
Jeremy Layland paced the Monarchs with matching rounds of 84 (+12), placing both in a tie for 14th overall.
Conner Smigielski added an 88 (+16), while
AJ Borchert carded a 94 (+22) to complete the four‑count total.
Cameron Jones rounded out the lineup with a 96 (+24).
Stevens' Jack Harris fired the low round of the day with a three‑under 69 to pace the field, helping the Ducks take a commanding lead after Round One. Lebanon Valley and Arcadia follow in second and third, respectively, entering Sunday's final round.
