LEBANON, PA (April 26, 2026)--The King's College men's golf team closed out the 2026 season at round two of the MAC Freedom Championship at Iron Valley Golf Club, posting a 344 in the final round to finish in a tie for fifth with a two‑day total of 694. This marks the best finish for the Monarchs since the 2023 season, where the team finished third. Stevens captured the conference title with a 599, the only team to break 600 on the weekend.
Brendan Percey led the Monarchs on Sunday with an 81 (+9) to finish at 165 (+21), placing 13
th overall and just outside the All‑Conference cutoff.
Jeremy Layland followed with an 85 (+13) to post a 169 (+25) and tie for 17
th.
Conner Smigielski added an 89 (+17) to close at 177 (+33) in a tie for 24
th, while
AJ Borchert matched him with an 89 (+17) to finish at 183 (+39) and 32
nd overall.
Cameron Jones rounded out the lineup with a 96 (+24) to post a 192 (+48) and finish 38
th.
Stevens' Jack Harris secured medalist honors with a two‑day total of 140 (‑4), leading a dominant Ducks lineup that swept all five First Team All‑Conference positions. DeSales, Arcadia, and Lebanon Valley filled the remaining Second Team spots inside the top ten.
