King's 2026 Women's Golf MAC Championship Preview

NEWTOWN, PA (April 27, 2026)--The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office released the 2026 MAC Women's Golf Pre‑Championship Coaches' Poll on Tuesday morning, with the King's College women's golf team selected 11th heading into this weekend's championship at Berkleigh Golf Club.

York earned the top position in the poll with 99 points and nine first‑place votes, while Stevenson followed in second with 79 points and one first‑place vote. Hood secured third with 76 points and the final first‑place nod. Alvernia, the two‑time defending MAC champion, checked in fourth with 70 points.

Albright collected 61 points to land fifth, and Lebanon Valley placed sixth with 54 points. Arcadia and Misericordia tied for seventh with 50 points apiece, followed by Eastern in ninth with 25 points and FDU‑Florham in 10th with 21 points. King's rounded out the poll in 11th with 20 points.

The Monarchs will send a five‑player lineup to Kutztown next weekend, featuring four first‑time competitors alongside one returning championship veteran. Senior Amanda Sokol enters her third MAC Championship appearance after placing 46th last spring. Her season‑best round was a 107 on September 13 at Wyoming Valley Country Club during the Marywood/Wilkes tri‑match. Jackie Martin leads the group of newcomers after firing the team's lowest round of the year, a 91 on April 17 at Stonehedge Country Club in the Scranton/Misericordia tri‑match.

Three additional Monarchs will make their championship debuts: Victoria Fleury-Wright, who posted a season‑low 111 on April 17 at Stonehedge; Nina Anzalone, who carded a 115 that same day, and Allie Chocallo, whose best round was a 120 on March 29 at Wyoming Valley Country Club in the Wilkes/Misericordia tri‑match.

The 2026 MAC Women's Golf Championship will be held May 2-3 at Berkleigh Golf Club in Kutztown, PA.
