WILKES-BARRE, PA (July 17, 2026) -- The road to the 2026 cross country season is officially mapped out as head coach Mike Kolinovsky unveiled the men's and women's schedules on Friday morning. The Monarchs will compete in four regular season meets before turning their attention to the postseason championship portion of the schedule.
King's opens the campaign on September 1 at the Misericordia Invitational, hosted by Misericordia University at Letterkenny Fields in Dallas, PA. The men's and women's teams will both begin competition at 6:00 p.m.
The Monarchs then head south to the Greenspring Cross Country Course in Stevenson, MD for a meeting with Stevenson University on September 18. The women's race is scheduled to begin at 4:15 p.m., while the men are set for a 5:00 p.m. start.
The month continues on September 26 with the Lock Haven Invite at the West Branch Cross Country Course in Lock Haven, PA. The men's squad will race at 10:00 a.m. before the women's race follows at 10:45 a.m.
Following a three-week break from competition, King's returns to action on October 17 at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational, hosted by Gettysburg College. The women's race is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., followed by the men's race at 11:00 a.m. at the Gettysburg Cross Country Course.
The championship season begins on October 31 as the Monarchs travel back to Stevenson, MD for the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships at Greenspring Cross Country Course. The women's championship race is slated for 11:00 a.m., while the men's championship race will begin at 12:00 p.m.
The NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships are scheduled for November 14 at the West Branch Cross Country Course in Lock Haven, PA. The women's regional race is slated for 11:00 a.m., followed by the men's race at 12:00 p.m.
