2022 (Outdoor Season): Competed in one out of a possible eight meets as a first year mid distance runner for the Monarchs...Finished in a personal best time of 18:44.82 in the 5000 meter run at the Monarch Open (4/30/22)...Kings finished seventh out of 15 teams at the MAC Championships with 45 points.
2021-22 (Indoor Season): Did not compete in any of the eight meets in the 2021-22 Indoor Track and Field season as a first year mid distance runner for the Monarchs...King's finished ninth at the MAC Championships with 26 points.
PRIOR TO KING'S: Multi-sport letter winner for the Comets of Crestwood High School in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania ... graduated from CHS in 2021 as a member of the National Honor Society, French Honor Society, and member of Principle's Honors ... earned two letters as a member of Comets cross country team, earned one letter on the track and field, soccer, and lacrosse teams ... also was a member of CHS basketball and golf teams ... named captain of cross country team as a senior ... selected as the cross country Team MVP as a junior ... member of Comets soccer squad that won the conference and District 2 Championships, member of lacrosse squads that won two conference titles and two District 2 Championships, member of track and field team that finished fifth in the 4x800 meter relay, and finished 20th at the cross country conference championships ... ran personal best times of 2:11 in the 800, 5:06 in the 1600, and 17:46 in the 5KÂ
PERSONAL:Â Also a member of the King's College men's cross country team ... son of Jacqueline and Eric Johnson ... has a twin sister, Julia, who is on the women's cross country, women's indoor track and field, and women's outdoor track and field teams at King's ... mother, Jacqueline, graduated from King's in 1985 ... a pre-physician assistant major ... chose King's over DeSales and Misericordia because "of the fantastic Physician Assistant program. The program gives me the guidance and opportunity needed to reach my dream of becoming a PA. King's also allowed me to continue my running career too, fulfilling my dream of being a collegiate athlete. Also, my twin sister is attending King's for the PA program and she's running as well, so that was a special opportunity I couldn't pass up. Finally, my late mother went to King's, so this gives me the chance to honor her and carry on the family tradition."
