2024 (Outdoor Season): Competed in three out of a possible nine meets as a senior jumper for the Monarchs...Won the gold medal with a new outdoor program record and personal best height of 1.96 meters in the high jump at MAC Championships (5/3/24)...Recorded two first-place finishes on the season...King's placed 8th out of 16 scoring teams with 53 points at the MAC Championships.

2023-24 (Indoor Season): Did not compete in any of the eight possible meets as a senior jumper for the Monarchs...King's finished 14th out of 16 scoring teams at the MAC Championships with 22 points.

2023 (Outdoor Season): Competed in four out of a possible nine meets as a senior jumper for the Monarchs...Finished second in the high jump at the 2023 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships...Cleared a season-best height of 1.90 meters in the high jump at the Muhlenberg Outdoor Invitational (4/1/23)...King's finished 8th out of 16 scoring teams at the MAC Championships with 45 points.

2022-23 (Indoor Season): Competed in five out of a possible eight meets as a senior jumper for the Monarchs...Set a new personal best and program record mark of 1.95 meters in the high jump a season-best mark of 5.75 meters in the long jump at the Plex Shootout (2/11/23)...Earned the gold medal with a mark of 1.92 meters in the high jump at the 2023 MAC Indoor Championships...King's finished 9th of 15 scoring teams at the MAC Championships with 40 points.

2022 (Outdoor Season): Competed in all eight meets as a junior jumper for the Monarchs...Cleared a season-best height of 1.87 meters at the Danny Curran Invitational (4/1/22), Misericordia Twilight Meet (4/12/22), and the Monarch Open (4/30/22)...Finished fifth at the 2022 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a height of 1.77 meters...Kings finished seventh out of 15 teams at the MAC Championships with 45 points.

2019-20 (Indoor Season): Competed in four of 10 meets as a freshman jumper … Qualified for the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships in the high jump and long jump … Finished second in the high jump to score eight points and earn All-MAC Second Team honors with a season best height of 1.92 meters (6’3.5”) … Finished 13th in the long jump with a season best mark of 6.25 meters (20’6.25”) … Won the high jump with a mark of 1.85 meters (6’0.75”) at the season-opening Golden Wolves Rust Buster (12/7) … King’s finished sixth at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships with 62 points

PRIOR TO KING'S: Was a two-sport standout for the Falcons of Pennsbury High School in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania ... graduated in 2019 as a captain of track and field team as a senior ... very strong track athlete, as he was First Team All-League in the high jump, while finishing second in the long jump ... helped his squad to a track title at PHS ... recorded personal best marks of 6'4 in the high jump and 21.8 feet in the long jump

PERSONAL: Also a member of the King's College football team ... Son of Robin and Darrell Sherrod ... has two siblings, Jaylin and Antonio ... cousins with Kareem Mckenzie, former New York Giant and New York Jet offensive lineman who won two Super Bowls with the Giants ... a communication major ... chose King's over East Stroudsburg, Wesley and Delaware Valley because "of all the colleges I visited, I felt the most comfortable with King's.
