2021-22: Set a personal best in the 400 Free in 4:33.28 against Lebanon Valley (11/5/21)...Recorded personal bests in the 50 Fly (27.96 seconds) and the 100 Fly (59.28 seconds) against Wilkes (1/28/22)...Won the silver medal in the 1650 Free in 16:41.11 and finished fourth in the 400 IM in 4:13.75 at the 2022 MAC Championships (2/13/22)...Won the 500 Free and 1000 Free and finished second in the 200 Free against Scranton (10/22/21)...Won the 1000 Free and finished third in the 500 Free and 200 IM against Cabrini (10/23/21)...Placed second in the 200 Free and 500 Free in the Triple Dual (10/30/21)...Won both the 400 Free and 200 IM against Lebanon Valley (11/5/21)...Won the 400 IM and finished second in the 500 Free against Arcadia (11/12/21)...Finished second in the 1650 Free at the Diamond City Invitational (11/19/21)...Won the 1000 Free and finished second in the 500 Free against Lycoming (1/16/22)...Placed second in both the 500 Free and 1650 Free against Misericordia (1/22/22)...Won both the 1000 Free and 100 Fly against Wilkes (1/29/22)...Named the 2021-22 Men's Swimming Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year...King's went 6-5 in dual meets and finished 8th out of 14 teams at the 2022 MAC Championships.
2019-20: Finished in first place against Wilkes meet for 200 free (1:47.85), 100 back (57.79), and 100 breast (1:01.58). Placed in first all three events 500 free (5:01.43), 1650 free(16:45.48), and 200 IM (2:03.83) against Misercordia. Stephan placed first against Lycoming in the 200 Y Breast with a personal best time of 2:14.40... Also placing first again against Lycoming in the 400 Y IM with a time of 4:21.24... Placed first in both the 500 free in 4:55.88 and the 200 IM in 2:02.22 against Lebanon Valley... Finished first in the both the 100 back with a 59.46 and the 400 IM with a 4:18.58 against Lebanon Valley... Placed first in the both the 200 free with 1:50.65 and 200 back with a 2:07.97 against Scranton... also finished second in the 200 breast... Placed first in both 1000 free in 10:17.06 and 200 IM in 2:07.83 against Cabrini. Placed first in 500 free with a time of 5:06.37...first in 1000 free with a time of 10:20.83...Placed first in 200 IM with a time of 2:06.65. Finished 1st in both 500 free with a time of 5:07.87 and 1000 free with a time of 10:13.48 which was a personal best for Stephan against Arcadia. At the Diamond City Invitational he placed first in 500 free with a time of 4:48.01. Stephan also finished first in both 1650 free with a time of 16:58.59 and 400 IM at 4:10.48. All three times were personal best for Stephan.
PRIOR TO KING'S: Varsity letter winner in both swimming and volleyball for the Comets of Penn Manor...swim captain as a senior...earned All-Lebanon League in the 200 Medley Relay and 400 Free Relay...career-low times in high school of 4:49.73 in the 500 free, 1:59.06 in the 200 IM and 1:03.54 in the 100 breast...was a Class Officer in ninth grade, and served as Class President as a sophomore through senior years...National Honor Society President as a junior and senior.
PERSONAL: Parents Laura and Scott Stephan...one sibling, Zachary...majoring as Physician's Assistant...chose King's over Arcadia, Stockton, E-Town and Towson because "The PA program was a big factor in my decision to attend King's, plus I felt right at home on the campus and with the swim team."
