To Robert L. Betzler Athletic Complex

GPS Users:     221 Highland Park Blvd. Wilkes-Barre Township, PA

From Central/North New Jersey:    Take I-80 West to Pennsylvania Turnpike (Exit 42). Proceed northbound and exit at Exit 36 Wilkes-Barre. Turn left at end of ramp on to Rte. 115 N. Proceed northbound for four miles and road will eventually merge with 309 South. Get off at Exit 1 Wilkes-Barre (309 South Business). Proceed around circle and stay right at top of hill. Road will continue on as 309 S. Business.  Proceed straight on 309 South Business to Mundy Street (see TGI Fridays and Holiday Inn immediately on the right) and get in left two lanes at the traffic light. Make left turn on to Mundy Street and proceed to fourth traffic light, approximately 150 yards past the U-Haul on the left and at the entrance to the Wyoming Valley Mall on the right. Turn left at light on to Highland Park Boulevard and stay straight, approximately one-half mile until you reach the Betzler Complex on the left.  You will pass the Mohegan Sun Arena on the left, a Wal-Mart shopping center and plaza on the right, and a Wendy’s Restaurant on the left before reaching the Betzler Complex on the left. Turn left at the light to enter the Betzler Complex.

When exiting Betzler Athletic Complex following the event, make a right turn when leaving the parking lot and follow road straight. See signs for Interstate 81 North and follow. When merging onto Interstate 81 North, drive approximately one mile and exit at the PA 115 South Exit (Bear Creek) and then proceed straight. This takes you to the route you originally came in from. Follow and you will eventually come to Interstate 80.

Take Interstate 80 West to Exit 284 Blakeslee. Follow Route 115 North for approximately 20 miles and it will eventually merge with Route 309. Get off at Exit 1 Wilkes-Barre (309 South Business). Proceed around circle and stay right at top of hill. Proceed straight on 309 South Business to Mundy Street (see TGI Fridays and Holiday Inn immediately on the right) and get in left two lanes at the traffic light. Make left turn on to Mundy Street and proceed to fourth traffic light, approximately 150 yards past the U-Haul on the left and at the entrance to the Wyoming Valley Mall on the right. Turn left at light on to Highland Park Boulevard and stay straight, approximately one-half mile until you reach the Betzler Complex on the left.  You will pass the Mohegan Sun Arena on the left, a Wal-Mart shopping center and plaza on the right, and a Wendy’s Restaurant on the left before reaching the Betzler Complex on the left. Turn left at the light to enter the Betzler Complex.

Returning to Route 81:   When exiting Betzler Athletic Complex, make a right turn when leaving the parking lot and follow road straight. See signs for Interstate 81 and follow accordingly.

Returning to the PA Turnpike and Interstate 80, follow the same exit from Betzler Athletic Complex. Take Interstate 81 North, drive approximately one mile and exit at the Route 115 South Exit (Bear Creek) and proceed straight. This takes you to the route you originally came in from. Follow four miles and you will reach the PA Turnpike or continue straight on Route 115 South and you will eventually reach Interstate 80.

From South Jersey/Philadelphia:    Take Pennsylvania Turnpike (Northeast Extension) to Exit 36 Wilkes-Barre and turn left at end of ramp on to Rte. 115 N. Upstate New York:    Follow I-81 South to Exit 168.  When exiting highway, proceed straight to bottom of hill (see Mohegan Sun Arena on right) and make a left turn at stop sign. Proceed about one-half mile and Betzler Athletic Complex will be on left hand side of road. Wegman’s will be on right.

From New England:    Take I-84 West to Route 380 West to Scranton.  Pick up I-81 South to Exit 168 (Highland Park Boulevard). When exiting highway, proceed straight to bottom of hill (see Mohegan Sun Arena on right) and make a left turn at stop sign. Proceed about one-half mile and Betzler Athletic Complex will be on left hand side of road. Wegman’s food store will be on right.

From Harrisburg Area:    Follow I-81 North to Exit 168. When exiting highway, proceed straight to bottom of hill (see Mohegan Sun Arena on right) and make a left turn at stop sign. Proceed about one-half mile and Betzler Athletic Complex will be on left hand side of road. Wegmans will be on right.
