Tailgate Policy

KING’S COLLEGE TAILGATE POLICY

King’s College is pleased to allow tailgating as a social activity before competition.  We ask that the following guidelines be followed.   Please note that violations of our tailgating policies may result in removal from the complex.

Tailgating may begin no earlier than three (3) hours prior to the start of competition for all fans. ALL TAILGATING MUST CEASE ONCE THE COMPETITION BEGINS.   Tailgating is not permitted during half-time or after the game.

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited as per laws within Wilkes-Barre Township. Be aware that Wilkes-Barre Township police do drive through the parking lot.

Our parking spaces are limited.  Setting up for tailgating may not take away spaces otherwise used for parking.

No open fires are permitted. Only propane tanks that do not exceed 20 pounds are permitted. Charcoal grills are prohibited.

No pets are permitted.

All tailgaters are responsible for proper disposal of their trash and other debris. Trash containers will be provided in the tailgating area. Any person damaging university property will be responsible for the cost of repairs.

No amplified music is permitted.  Please be respectful of others around you.

Consult an on-site King's College security guard if you have questions.
