2018: Did not appear in any games as a sophomore offensive lineman … King’s had a 5-5 overall record and a 4-4 mark in conference play

PRIOR TO KING'S: Was a three-year letter winner, along with two-year starter for the Eagles of Cypress Falls High School in Houston, Texas...Helped his team to a Cypress Fairbanks District title from 2011-2013...Threw the shot for the track team, while competing in pole vault as well. 

PERSONAL: Parents Donald and Ann Payne...Has one sibling, Austin...International business major...Cousin, Bill Baratta, played baseball at King's College...Picked King's over Wilkes and Misericordia because "of the atmosphere and how welcoming everyone was when I first got to campus and the support I was given to get everything done to transfer. Their football program welcomed me with open arms and I meshed right in as soon as I set foot in the room with these guys and am proud to play along side of all of them."
