Andrew Kirkland joins the Monarch staff in 2009 where he will serve as an intern assistant coach, working with the defensive backs.
    
Kirkland is a 2009 graduate of Colgate University where he played free safety and strong safety. He was also part of a Colgate squad that captured the 2005 Patriot League championship.
    
After completing his eligibility in 2007, Kirkland spent 2008 as an undergraduate assistant coach while completing his education. He graduated from Colgate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.
