Enter his second season with the Monarch staff in 2014 is assistant coach Bill Brong who serves as an assistant offensive line coach.

Coach Brong came to King's with a wealth of coaching experience. He comes to King's after serving as an assistant coach and defensive coordinator at Nazareth Area High School in Pennsylvania.  He helped the Eagles to reach a high level of success, including the a second-place finish in the 2012 Eastern Conference Playoffs, and a Pennsylvania District 11 title in which Nazareth finished 12-2 and the PIAA Eastern semi-finals. The 2010 Nazareth squad also went 9-3.

Prior to his time at Nazareth, Coach Brong was the head football coach at Lehighton Area High School from 2001-2007 where he compiled a 47-33 record. His teams won a 2001 District 11 title; a 2002 Mountain Valley Conference championship and District 11 playoff berth; placed second in the 2005 Eastern Football Conference; and reached the District 11 playoffs in 2006 and 2007.  

In 2005 Brong also served as head coach of the Red Team in the Lehigh Valley/McDonald's Senior All-Star Classic and also served as an assistant coach in the game in 2002 and 2004.  Brong has received a number of honors and accolades throughout his coaching career.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Education Social Studies from Mansfield University in 1979. He also earned his Master of Sience degree in reading from East Stroudsburg University in 1984. Since 1979 he has been employed as a teacher at Lehighton Area High School.
