Also coming to King’s as an intern assistant coach is Chris Keyes who will mentor the secondary with a focus on the cornerbacks. Keyes played his collegiate ball for a highly-successful St. John Fisher College program from 2006-09 and helped the Cardinals as a defensive back. He was part of a Fisher program that went a combined 37-11 overall and 18-5 in the Empire 8 Conference. The team also qualified for the NCAA national playoffs quarterfinals in 2007 and nationalsemi-finals in 2006.
St. John Fisher also won the 2008 ECAC Northeast Bowl championship and the 2009 ECAC Northwest Bowl title. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from St. John Fisher in 2010, he began his coaching career at Hartwick in 2011 where he coached the cornerbacks and served as assistant video coordinator.
