Ian Ackerman was named as an Assistant Football Coach in charge of the tight ends ahead of the 2024 season and completed his first year with the Monarchs at the conclusion of the 2024 season.

Ackerman will lead the tight end position group, including 2023 All-MAC Second Team honoree Ryan McCombs. He will also assist in day-to-day operations, including practice and game planning, recruiting, and other duties as assigned.

• 2024 graduate of Springfield College with a degree in movement and sports studies on the physical education track with a minor in athletic coaching.
• Member of the Pride football program from 2020-2024 as a defensive lineman, appearing in 20 career games.
• Led the Pride to three consecutive NCAA Division III National Tournament appearances, including a second-round game in 2022.
