On February 11, 2010, Jeff Knarr was named the new head football coach at King’s College where he is in the midst of successfully rebuilding the Monarch program. The 2022 season was Coach Knarr's 13th at King's. Knarr came to King's after a long and successful stint at Muhlenberg College as the offensive and recruiting coordinator for the Mules. 

At Kings Head Coach

  • Has posted an overall record at King's of 50-71 with the Monarch football program, going 43-54 within the difficult Middle Atlantic Conference. 
  • Program has won five or more games in seven seasons since becoming the head coach at King's. 
  • Has continued to show his recruiting prowess, with teams over the 100 player mark routinely during his time at King's. 
Program Milestones
  • Has re-invented the offensive game at King's during his time, helping to set such team records for rushing touchdowns in a game (6 vs. Misericordia, 2017), rushing yards in a game (466 vs. Albright, 2021), pass attempts in a season (412, 2016), completions in a season (247, 2016), passing yardage (2,873, 2016), passing touchdowns in a game and season. 
  • Also a special teams guru, as King's has set the program record for punt return average and kick return yardage with Knarr at the helm. 
  • Along with that, during 2017 and 2018, King's posted two of its highest point totals ever as the Monarchs chalked up 65 against Hartwick College in 2018 and 63 against Misericordia in 2017. 
  • In 2019, King's started 3-0 for the first time in program history. 
  • Recorded the second-best season in program history in 2022, leading the Monarchs to an 8-3 overall mark, including 7-1 against MAC opponents. This set King's up for their first appearance in the Centennial-MAC Bowl Series for the first time in the series' seven years, as well as their first post-season appearance under Knarr.

  • Transferred to Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College), where he played outside linebacker
  • 1987 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Easton, PA, where he was a two-time Centennial Conference selection
  • Resides in Easton, PA with his wife, Katie. 
  • Has two children, Megan and Jake.
