Allowed only 13 goals on the season with 58 saves to tally a 0.817 save percentage... Was named MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week (10/14/24) and received All-MAC Freedom Second Team honors... King’s had a 7-6-4 overall record with a 2-3-2 mark in MAC Freedom play.

PRIOR TO KING'S: Earned two varsity letters in soccer for the Blue Streaks of Saratoga Springs High School...Was named a two-time goalkeeper of the year in his league...A Section 2AA Second Team All Star as a junior and First Team All Star as a senior...A two-time Union First Team All Star...Helped lead the Blue Streaks to a Section 2AA League Title and 2AA Sectional Finalist appearance as a junior and a Section 2AAA League Title and Sectional Finalist appearance as a senior...Also competed for New York Elite Alleycats FC.

PERSONAL: Son of Gerald and Laurie Van Valkenburg...A mechanical engineering major...Chose King's College because "I really like the campus, and all of the people I have met so far have been so kind and seem like such amazing people. I also really like the men’s soccer program."
