Biography

Mike Kolinovsky was announced as the first head coach in program history prior to the inaugural track and field season in 2015-16. He completed his 11th year as the head coach of the track and field program in 2024-25.
At King's Head Coach
  • Full-time head coach of both cross country and track and field teams.
  • Served as part-time cross country and club track and field head coach until the addition of track and field as a varsity sport in 2015-16.
  • Kolinovsky has quickly built the Monarchs into a Middle Atlantic Conference contender while making nine trips to the National Championships with four different student-athletes.

Program Milestones

Indoor
  • 2017-18 – Tyler Maxwell wins the weight throw to become first MAC Champion.
  • 2018-19 – Men’s Team scores 52 points at MAC Championships; more points than they scored at MAC Championships in the first three years of the program combined.
  • 2019-20 – Men’s Team scores a score record 62 points to finish 6th at MAC Championships behind three MAC titles and Jackie Ni earning Co-Field Athlete of the Year honors.
  • 2019-20 – Mitch Forgash and Jackie Ni become the first National Qualifiers in program history and are named All-America after Championships canceled due to COVID-19.
  • 2021-22 - Justin Le Cadre earned All-American honors as he finished third in the shot put at the NCAA Division III National Indoor Championships.
Outdoor
  • 2017 – Tyler Maxwell becomes first MAC Champion by winning the Hammer.
  • 2019 – King-Shakim Rose named MAC Rookie of the Year.
  • 2019 – Team scores school record 73 points at MAC Championships; point total is more than the total points scored at the first three Championships combined.
  • 2021 – Mitch Forgash became the first National Qualifier in program history and finished 14th in the 800 meters at the National Championships
  • 2022 - Justin Le Cadre named MAC Co-Field Athlete of the Year.
