Ashley Lynn, who recently concluded an outstanding career at Division II power Bloomsburg University, joins the Lady Monarchs as an assistant coach.

As a senior, Lynn posted a record of 26-5 for the year with a 0.97 ERA and four saves. She struck out 221 batters in 217 innings of work while walking just 22. She also had 25 complete games and threw 10 shutouts during the season. Lynn, who was named the PSAC East Pitcher of the Year and first team All-Region by both Daktronics and the NFCA, was named to the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region All-Tournament team.

Lynn finished her career as the all-time leader at Bloomsburg with 679 strike outs. She is also ranked second all-time at Bloomsburg in innings pitched for a career with 628; third in career shutouts with 31; and fourth in career wins with 73. During the year she hit a career-high for strikeouts in a single with 14 on two occasions.
