JOHN SPENCER

Biography

John Spencer joined the King’s College staff as the inaugural women’s golf head coach in February 2019 and completed his sixth year at the head of the program in 2025.At King's Head Coach
  • Posted a career record of 24-29 after the first two seasons were cut short due to the ongoing global pandemic.
  • Led the team to its first wins in program history, posting an improved 4-5 record in their spring 2021 season.
  • Recorded the first winning season in program history with a 9-4 record in 2021-22.
  • Saw the team earn its best finish at the MAC Championships as they placed 5th out of 9 teams in 2023.
Program Milestones
  • Led the Monarchs women’s golf team in their inaugural season in the fall of 2019.
  • Posted the first wins in program history in a home tri-match sweep over local rivals Wilkes and Misericordia on April 10, 2021.

  • Third generation of Spencer’s to be associated with the golf course, as his grandfather designed and built the course at Lehman Golf Club back in 1953.
