King's College Athletics

The calendar turned to August, and with the impending return of our student-athletes for the 2023-24 academic year, it is with great pleasure that the King's College athletic department and Associate Vice President and Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation Cheryl Ish announce the newest staff addition. On Wednesday afternoon, Ish unveiled that Josh Hoff will join the Monarchs as our next head women's ice hockey coach ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.

• Set a new program record for most wins in a season in 2024-25, going 6-15-3 overall and 6-12-3 in MAC play.
• Led King's to their best record in program history to earn MAC Coach of the Year after his first season on the job in 2023-24 with an overall 5-20-1 record and 1-7-0 MAC record.
• Helped the team earn its first ever UCHC playoff birth in 2023-24 with a conference record of 4-15-1.
• Was named MAC Coach of the Year in his first season with King's (2023-24).
• Earned his first win as a Monarch at Hilbert College on October 27, defeating the Hawks, 7-2.

• Led the Monarchs to several top-ranked finishes in a season in 2024-25, including most program wins, goals, points, assists, power-play goals, shots on goal, shots per game, goalie save-percentage, and goals against average (lowest).
