Biography

A familiar face will return to the rink this upcoming season as Head Coach Josh Hoff announces the addition of Samantha Kulman to the 2024-25 women's ice hockey coaching staff.

Kulman will be responsible for many of the different duties to help the program run smooth and grow. One of the big roles on ice is going to be developing our penalty kill and our defenseman. She will also assist with social media and other day-to-day operations.

Personal
  • 2024 graduate of King's College with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and political science and a minor in sociology.
  • Four-year member of the Monarch women's ice hockey program as a defenseman, appearing in 63 career games.
  • Four-time recipient of both the UCHC All-Academic Team and MAC Academic Honor Roll.
  • Two-time Krampade AHCA All-American Scholar.
  • Helped lead the Monarchs to the most single-season wins in program history in 2023-24.
  • Secretary of the Pre-Law Society, President of the Model United Nationas, and SAAC Representative.
  • Native of Thomaston, Conn.
