Biography
Ahead of the 2025-26 season, the King's College wrestling program announced a coaching transition as Aaron Perez will elevate to Head Coach.

Perez plays major role in recruiting student-athletes, providing academic advisement, assisting with technique, and organizing practices in his role as assistant coach. He will assist in every aspect of the program where he is best needed, including social media output and fundraising as well. Perez will enter his second season with the team in 2025-26 campaign and first as head coach.

Previous Coaching Experience
  • Assistant Coach, Wrestling, King's College (2024-25).
  • Coach, Wrestling, Freedom High School
    • Produced the program's first California State Champion along with multiple state medalists, state qualifiers, regional champions, and various other local honors.
  • Club Director, Wrestling, Golden State Wrestling Club
    • Coordinated and coached USA Wrestling events at the local, state, and national level.
    • Guided wrestlers who qualified for the California National Team and Cadet World Team.
Personal
  • 2015 graduate of King's College.
  • Three-year starter for the Monarchs, primarily at 125 and 133.
  • MAC Academic Honor Roll recipient.
  • Certified USA Wrestling Bronze coach.
  • Currently resides in Exeter with wife Amanda and daughter Isabel.
