ADAM HEALEY

Biography

Adam Healey was officially introduced as the head wrestling coach at King's College on August 16, 2017 and just finished his third season with the Monarchs.  Healey had served as an assistant coach under the legendary 48-year veteran Ned McGinley, who officially retired June 30, 2017. 

At Kings Head Coach
  • Served as a part-time head coach from 2007-2020. 
  • Continually has built the King's roster over the last three seasons. 
  • Has posted a 5-54 overall dual meet record during his time as head coach.

Personal
  • Native of Wilkes-Barre, Pa. 
  • 2013 graduate of Bucknell University with a B.A. in geography.
  • Four-year member of the Bison wrestling program, competing at 141 and 149 pounds. 
  • Posted a 42-58 career record at Bucknell, including a 10-22 mark as a senior at 2012-13. 
  • Masters of Business Administration from Wilkes University in 2016. 
  • Attended national wrestling power Wyoming Seminary Prep. 
  • Six-time Pennsylvania State Prep School Tournament place-winner. 
  • Won back-to-back state prep title as a junior and senior at 135 and 140 pounds, respectively. 
  • Competed at the National Prep School Championships final three years at Wyoming Seminary. 
  • Finished fourth as a sophomore at 125, seventh as a junior at 135 and 6th at 140. 
  • Posted a 198-44 record at Wyoming Seminary.
