CHRISTIAN MAZZOCCHI

Biography
Ahead of the 2025-26 season, Christian Mazzocchi transitioned from Head Coach to Associate Head Coach. The 2025-26 campaign will be Mazzocchi's 16th year on the King's wrestling coaching staff after serving as an assistant for 14 years prior to his head coaching stint.

Previous Coaching Experience
  • Head Coach, Wrestling, King's College (2023-25).
    • Posted a 21-15 dual meet record, marking the best dual meet records in back-to-back seasons in 14 years.
    • Led six individuals to podium finishes at both the 2024 and 2025 MAC Championships, including a silver and bronze medalist in 2024 and two bronze medalists in 2025.
    • Led three individuals to podium finishes at the 2025 NCAA Southeast Regional Championships.
  • Assistant Coach, Wrestling, King's College (2014-2023).

Personal
  • 2014 graduate from King's College with a degree in environmental studies with a double-minor in geography and history.
  • Was a four-year member of the King's wrestling team, compiling a 64-32 overall record.
  • Spent two seasons as team captain of the Monarch wrestling program.
  • Serves as an engineer in the United State Army Reserve.
  • Native of Madison, N.J. and is a graduate of Madison High School.
  • Was a two-time New Jersey State Qualifier at Madison High School.
  • Loving husband to wife, Shelby, and father to daughter, Olive.
