Rico Plummer joins the King's College Athletic Department as the Assistant to the Director of Athletics. Plummer also serves as an assistant wrestling coach at King's.
Plummer is a graduate of Messiah College in Grantham, Pa. where he excelled as a student-athlete on the wrestling mat.
Plummer ranks seventh all-time at Messiah with 117 victories in his wrestling career and was a four-year letter-winner competing at 165 and 174 pounds and was also a two-year team captain as a junior and senior. He also ranks in the top-five at Messiah in takedowns. As a senior in 2014, Plummer earned NCAA Division III All-American honors by placing fifth in the national tournament and also helped the Falcons to a third-place team finish.
After graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Plummer served as a graduate assistant coach at Messiah from 2014-16 where the Falcons finished sixth and second respectively at NCAA Division III nationals. He received his Master's in Higher Education with a concentration in College Athletics Leadership in May, 2016.
Plummer and his wife Erika reside in Mechanicsburg, Pa.
