King's College Athletics

The King's College women's ice hockey program has added Amanda Sokol to its coaching staff ahead of the 2026-27 season, head coach Quinn La Rock announced, continuing her impact on the Monarchs following a historic playing career.
 
Sokol joins the coaching staff following a standout four-year playing career in which she established herself as one of the leaders of the women's ice hockey program. A team captain and cornerstone of the Monarchs' culture, Sokol helped guide the continued growth of the program while serving as a leader both on and off the ice.

• Four-year member and captain of the King's College Women's Ice Hockey program
• Graduated as the program's all-time leader in career points (42) and ranked among the top five in program history in goals, points per game, power-play goals, and games played
• Captain of the King's College Women's Golf and Women's Hockey teams
• Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative and member of King's College Captain's Club
• Served as manager for the King's College Men's Ice Hockey team
• Earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology from King's College
