With fall sports right around the corner, the King's College athletic department and Executive Director of Athletics and Recreation Andy Orlowski has announced the newest change as Bridget Walsh has been elevated to Assistant Athletic Director. Her duties will begin on Monday, August 18.
Walsh has been with the Monarchs since 2019, first as a graduate assistant in the Sports Information office, then as Director in 2021 before earning the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications title last year in 2024. She has provided coverage to all 28 varsity programs at King's, including home game coverage with stats and broadcasts, social media and graphic design, and other projects as assigned, as well as the primary athletics contact for the annual Monarch Mayhem crowd-funding campaign.
In the broader King's Community, Walsh serves on the College's Staff Council as their communications specialist and was the recipient of the 2024 All-College Award for administration in recognition of outstanding loyalty, dedication, and leadership to King's College.
Walsh will be responsible for transportation, scheduling, and contracts and will work alongside Orlowski and Coordinator of Compliance and Student Engagement Elena Andreyev to assist with the day-to-day operations of the Athletic Department.
