King's College Athletics

Head Coach Race Bennett announced the addition of Jacob Smulevitch to the King's College men's ice hockey coaching staff ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Smulevitch brings extensive junior hockey coaching experience to the Monarchs, having previously served as Academy Director and 18U Head Coach for the West Chester Wolves, while also holding head coaching positions with the Casper Warbirds (NCDC), Columbia Infantry (USPHL), Charlotte Rush (USPHL), and Charleston Colonials (USPHL). He will assist with all aspects of the program, including recruiting, player development, and team operations.

• Academy Director and 18U Head Coach for the West Chester Wolves (2025-2026)
• Head Coach of the Casper Warbirds (NCDC) during the organization's inaugural season (2024)
• Head Coach of the Columbia Infantry (USPHL) from 2022-2024
• Led the Charlotte Rush to Southeast Division and USPHL Regular Season Championships in 2021-22
• Guided the Charleston Colonials to a USPHL Elite National Championship Runner-Up finish in 2020-21
• Selected as a Power Prep All-Star Coach and led the Wolves to a Power Prep Championship Runner-Up finish
• Previous scouting and analytics experience with the USHL's Des Moines Buccaneers
• Level 4 USA Hockey Coach
• Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration from Ball State University, with minors in Marketing and Management
