On Monday, July 21, Assistant Athletic Director of Athletic Communications Bridget Walsh announced James Schuld as the department's next full-time Assistant Director.
Schuld joins King's after three years at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), most recently as Game Day Communications Staff where he provided play-by-play and color commentary for home football, basketball, and baseball games, wrote recaps, recorded live statistics, and served as a public address announcer for all home baseball games. Prior to his latest stint, Schuld was the graduate assistant at TCNJ for two years, serving as the primary media contact for several sports, managing game day coverage, statistics, and graphics. He also designed game day programs and was well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite applications and Gipper.
Prior to his time in Ewing, N.J., Schuld gained a plethora of hands-on experience at Ursinus as a writer for Student Union Sports andÂ
The Grizzly, sports commentator for the Bears home basketball and football games, and Co-Founder and Co-Anchor of Sports on Main.
